Just another typical Lakeside tourist trap with the standard overpriced merchandise. I was surprised to see that the entire back half of the store was an appliance store The ice cream was way overpriced, and had very little flavor. The cashier was not welcoming at all, and seemed to resent us interrupting her gab session with the appliance salesperson's. I will look elsewhere the next time I am in the mood for ice cream.
Have been coming here for the past 6 years! My personal favorites are peach, cherry vanilla, pumpkin, and brown sugar. I love the homestead ice creams! I have spent a few summers sitting outside enjoying ice cream! When I moved away, I tried so hard to find something similar and never did!
This little store was more than I expected, when I saw the front.I thought it was just going to be a simple ice cream shop. But I was amazed when I also saw that there was appliances there as well and good ones at that. I love the decor of the shop as well as the ones that they sell. They have so many different varieties of toys. Many of them leaning towards a christian aspect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is great and I would definitely come back again.
